March 20, 2012 - "On Saturday, the Paul forces dominated Seattle's 36th and 46th legislative districts' delegate elections — winning every single delegate to the state convention from those districts.
"'They just out-organized us,' said George Sjursen, a Romney supporter who attended the 46th District caucus at a Lutheran school in Northeast Seattle. 'I think the Paul people are really trying to take over the party, and they have the right to — it's a democracy.'
The same thing happened in the 36th District, where the Paul backers voted down a "unity slate" that would have split delegates among Romney, Paul and the other GOP presidential contenders....
"'This was a campaign that seriously worked the caucus system and knew what it took to win,' said Michael Young, a former King County Republican Party chairman who attended the 36th District caucus."
