May 8, 2013 - "COAST, the Coalition Opposed to Additional Spending and Taxes, officially endorsed Libertarian candidate Jim Berns for mayor Tuesday night.
"Chris Finney, a COAST attorney, confirmed the endorsement, which Berns announced.
"'I am delighted to receive the COAST endorsement. I believe their decision was based on my long- standing record as a tax fighter and my recent work on the successful effort to put the parking meter lease referendum on the ballot,' Berns said in a press release....
"'Jim Berns has shown for years and years and decades and decades that he opposes additional spending and taxes,' said Tom Brinkman, founder of COAST."
