Judge rules against third-party candidates on Oklahoma ballots | Tulsa World - Barbara Hoberock:

September 14, 2012 - "OKLAHOMA CITY - Candidates for a third political party will not appear on the Nov. 6 general election ballot, the Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled Thursday.

"The court denied a request by a group calling itself the local chapter of Americans Elect. The national group got enough signatures to appear on the ballot and then disbanded.

"The state group filed suit to prevent the printing of the ballots pending the outcome of its attempt to force the state to put Gary Johnson of New Mexico and James P. Gray of California on the ballot as candidates for president and vice president, respectively.
