Libertarians plan toy gun march in D.C. July 3

Libertarians Plan Toy Gun March to Protest "Dangerous Gun Free Zones" - Amanda Schallert, Opposing Views:

June 19, 2013 - "Libertarian gun proponents plan to march in Washington, D.C., on July 3 bearing toy water guns in protest of ongoing efforts to increase gun control, according to Politico.

"The libertarian activists initially organized the march to counter a separate march with members bearing real guns that would serve as an act of “civil disobedience” and occur on July 4, according to USA Today.

"The Independence Day protest march was canceled, but the “Toy Gun March” is still set to commence at 9 a.m. and span from the Arlington Memorial Bridge to the National Mall.

"The "Toy Gun March" is both a protest and a charity event for Toys for Tots. Event organizers intend to raise $1,000 for the charity and have currently reached more than half of their monetary goal. "
