December 10, 2011 - "And then there were six ... tonight's ABC debate in Iowa will feature just six GOP presidential candidates – Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, Ron Paul, Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum.
"Three candidates are missing from that list – Buddy Roemer, Gary Johnson and Fred Karger.... As part of our ongoing effort to give all voices a chance to be heard, we invited Roemer, Johnson and Karger to be panelists in our live blog of tonight's debate. All three agreed to participate.
"That means it will be a full house for our live blog. In addition to our usual debate commentators ... we'll have three real live Republican presidential candidates offering their take on what their opponents say in the debate."
