Sep. 29, 2011 - "Jay Miller is new to politics and new to the area, and the Libertarian Party candidate in the Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound riding is offering some political alternatives.
"'We see governments spending a lot of money but we don't see the results and we don't think preventing people from having individual choice is in any way appropriate or effective especially in the case of the medical system. If you can't get the care you want you should not be preventing people from getting the care they need,' he said.
"The Libertarian Party is united by the belief that less government is better government. It advocates lower taxes, limiting the influence of government, more individual choice and more choice for communities."
