October 19, 2012 - "The campaign for Gary Johnson, a Libertarian presidential candidate, touts his agenda for the U.S. as putting a stop to frivolous spending, ending wars and rebuilding America.
"The former two-term New Mexico governor stood before a crowd Thursday night at the University of Wyoming wearing a T-shirt with a peace symbol on the front and surrounded by signs describing him as 'the people’s president'....
"'What we’re hearing so much right now is this whole notion of wasted vote,' he said. 'What’s a wasted vote other than voting for somebody that you don’t believe in? That’s a wasted vote. We change things in this country by voting for somebody who we believe in, and that’s a combination of what’s the guy saying and what’s the resume. … Nothing in my resume suggests that I’m not going to doggedly pursue everything it is that I’m talking about here.'"
