"Ms. Barnicoat, 20, has been a member of the Libertarian party for several years. She became involved in the upcoming election as an interested volunteer, and instead accepted the unoccupied nomination for the Durham riding.
"'I originally wanted to volunteer for the campaign, then I found out there hasn't been a Libertarian in my riding since 1988,' said Ms. Barnicoat. She went knocking on doors and collected the 100 signatures needed to put her name on the ballot....'
